RULES FOR LEAGUE
HUSKY RULE- Rule that was established for a member in last lg that was and still common sense.
basically its just you cant let ball handler just past half court line by a inch and then attempt to bump them back if caught doing will be a consequence.
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
Some people have a hard time understanding this, but an iso is NOT a play in nba 2k. that being said you dont have to run a play every single time down the court you generally should call a play about 65% of time reason i say 65 is because avg player gets around 10-20 fb points 8-16 2nd chance points.
FAST BREAK OPPORTUNITIES
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D <<<<< YOU CAN TURBO ON A FB
these are the list of FB opportunities
-Point guard gets rebound
-Ball gets blocked
-ball gets stolen.
Also if your opponent is on a FB and misses and you grab rebound you can start a fast break. you cannot pass ball until you get pass the opponent's 3pt line and you cant pass ball inside your on 3pt line until you a couple of feet behind your 3pt line.
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
ALL user must play on ball defense 1000000% of the time no excuses
If you get caught playing offball defense there will be a consequence.
if you lie and say you play on ball d and person records game theres a 90% chance of you being kicked
if it was a accident it wont happen more than 5 times in one game. every game u play and you get complaints you will be kick
but everyone is inocent until proven guilty... but if complaints grow large you guilty and will be kicked.
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
Ok well 2k always seems to make the game have easy exploits.
Many people resort to driving in the key when shock clock runs low and have been stopped from executing a move and doing a up and under. everyone knows that shot is almost unstoppable and depending on player it is. spin dunks another cheesy exploit those are only allowed on FB. one of the more unguardable things is just walking around then pulling up a jumpshot. players like jamal crawford with fast release and good shooting rating makes that shot hard to guard and almost a easy bucket everytime no walking into shots with players.
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
Ok a lot of people do not understand creating a shot in this game. Its nothing to go around screen and shoot thats fair but when you walk around and try to get enough space on him and shoot thats not creating a open shot. set screens do dribble moves to get around then you can pull up.
Driving to the basket
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
some people do a dribble move and then they start running to the basket which seems about right but no. just cause you do a dribble move that seems to get you open and then you attempt to go into key and the defender doesnt lose you doesnt mean you just keep on trying to run through him he step back and try and or shoot it you have to beat your man off the dribble. in some cases if you have derrick rose and your being guarded by steve nash and you hit him with a good move and he freezes for a sec or to and you guys have bumped then you can attack basket since the huge speed difference.
Shooting limits
NO TURBOING AND 100% ONBALL D
In the nba no player takes around 30+ shots a game basketball is a team game you have to distrubute the ball for other players at times like in real life. so therefore there is a shot attempt limit
THE SHOOTING LIMIT FOR EACH PLAYER IS 25 FG ATTEMPTS PER GAME. if rule is broken there will be a player suspension
NO TEAM CAN SHOOT OVER 27 3 POINTERS A GAME if rule is broken there wll be a player suspension
THE POINTS IN THE PAINT LIMIT IS 50% OF YOUR TOTAL SCORE
subtract fastbreak points from total score to total up amount of points in paint if you go over the rule there will be a player suspension.
